Playing Possum Necklace
Playing Possum Necklace
This pendant is inspired by the bodies of animals I find mangled in the road, often at the edge where it meet the forests surrounding my rural home. The enamel head has a mixture of red beads spilling out from it, adding movement and beauty while also depicting blood embellished with tiny pearl "maggots". The pendant hangs from plated iron chain with a gunmetal finish and has a gunmetal lobster clasp to match.
