Nevermore Raven Necklace

This necklace is in honor of the dead ravens and crows I have happened upon, their majestic shimmery black feathers sometimes acting as a backdrop to the new vibrant red coating them, each of the two colors enhancing one another all the more. The glass beads coming out of the raven's chest add shimmer and shine and draw the eye in and encourage it to further examine the delicate enameled feathers depicting the black and blue hues found within these beautiful birds.

The brass backing has three poppies pierced out to symbolize remembrance, and to let a bit of black peek through on the back, both of these things serving to honor the birds themselves.

The pendant is suspended from soft, hand-braided cotton thread to add texture and color uniformity throughout the piece, ensuring the red beading is what truly pops.
