Life After Death Necklace

Inspired by the neighborhood I lived in while living in Pittsburgh, PA, and it's bizarre and inexplicable number of dead baby birds scattered about the sidewalks all spring and summer long, this pendant depicts the head of a baby bird - dead, but already buzzing with new life, thanks to the flies. The enamel pendant hangs from gunmetal chain which matches back to the pendant's line work, and the chain itself is finished off with a lobster clasp, adding both elegance and stability to the design.
