Hanged Mouse Necklace

Inspired by a dark scene from the book Weyward, in which someone has hung captured rodents along their fence post, I wanted to take this visual of human cruelty and turn it from something meant to be a warped badge of hunting-trohpy-honor into something meant to be warn near the heart, as a totem imbued with the spirit of the animals humans so often deem unworthy of our fair treatment and life itself. While clearly hung, the mouse also looks as if in a perpetual state of dreaming, granting it eternal honor and dignity, brought about by the wearer choosing to carry it with them.
