Gutsy Mice Earrings

These earrings are inspired by the little mouse head and torso "gifts" the neighborhood cats would leave on my patio. They feature a mixture of pearls, stones, and beads, all in an ombre of fleshy pinks and red, spilling out from the enameled mouse head, adding movement and beauty while also depicting the innards trailing behind. Shapes such as butterflies and stars were incorporated to play-up the sweeter side of the pink color palette, and as well as to tie in some lovely and gentle parts of nature into what at first glance may be a gory scene.
