Bloody Albino Hare Head Necklace

This pendant is inspired by the little animals surrounding my rural home that have gotten caught by cats or foxes, only to have their body parts hoarded like treasure and left at the doorstep or strewn around the yard. The enamel rabbit head has a mixture of red beads spilling out, adding movement and beauty while also depicting blood. A few freshwater pearls accent the read beads, mimicking maggots starting to burrow out. The pendant hangs from plated iron paperclip chain that's finished off with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
